Start of a continuous editorial career in academic journals specialising in terminology and technical translation. Bibliographic coverage in Dialnet documents 60+ specialised publications from 1993 to 2023, with an h-index of 3 on that platform.
Defence of the doctoral thesis at the University of Granada on technical English terminology and its translation into Spanish, applied to the fields of computing and telecommunications. The research was awarded the Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado — the university's highest academic distinction.
Publication of the first monograph, a reference work in specialised terminology for computing and telecommunications. Indexed in Dialnet as a reference work in the training of translators and interpreters specialising in technical language.

Start of a sustained collaboration as conference interpreter at the Premios Princesa de Asturias (formerly Príncipe de Asturias). The University of Granada publicly documented in 2024 the 19-year record at one of Spain's foremost internationally broadcast institutional ceremonies.
Beginning of the systematic collection and documentation of Fase lamps. Over ten years the collection reached more than 200 pieces and 100 documented models, with particular attention to production variants, design attribution and conservation. Reported in El País (2023) and Europa Press (2022).

The article introduces the state of the field in remote, hybrid and technology-assisted interpreting, documenting a specialisation in the technological transformation of the profession. Reflects the main research line of the TRADINTEC group under his direction.
Speaker at the specialist fair Antik Passion Almoneda in Madrid. Public presentation on Fase lamps in the context of twentieth-century Spanish industrial design and specialist collecting. Covered by Europa Press (21/03/2022).
Curated exhibition at the Centro Cultural CajaGranada (16 Feb – 9 Apr 2023). Presentation of Fase models in dialogue with artistic work, including cinematographic and scenographic references; works by Tomás Díaz Magro and an installation by Isidro López-Aparicio. The Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas in Madrid expressed interest in hosting the collection.
The University of Granada publicly documents the 19-year record at the Premios Princesa de Asturias, alongside membership of the excellence unit "Ciencia en la Alhambra" and the Cátedra de Innovación en Diseño, Artesanía y Arte Contemporáneo. Also covered by El País and AD Spain.
Presentation of the book on the future of interpreting at the UGR Master's in Conference Interpreting programme. The volume analyses the shift towards remote interpreting and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in professional interpreting practice.
